About Me
My name is Brittany Licka and I am going to school to become a Special Education Teacher. I am married to my husband, Dylan Licka and we have three dogs named Buddy, Theo, and Ellie. I have worked in banking and now a credit union for about 7 years now, but my passion has always been to work with kids. A couple fun facts about me is that I love coffee and Hallmark Christmas movies.
Mission Statement
As a teacher I strive to be the best educator I can possibly be. I want to make a difference in my students lives. I want my students to know that they can talk to me and be open with me. I believe that teachers that focus on the relationship aspect of education are generally able to reach the students more and I want to be like that as a teacher. I want my students to know that I care about them and I want what is best for their future. I will do everything I can to help my students succeed.
Class Layout

The layout that I chose for my classroom allows for visibility and accessibility because of the placement of the students tables and the teachers desk. Where the teachers desk is placed is perfect to be able to see the students at the tables and because of the visibility of the students desks, I will be able to keep an eye out on the students to help them avoid distractions.
